How to Unlock All Characters in Run 3
Run Cheats & Hack for Power Cells & All Characters
Run, an endless runner released by Kongregate on the Google Play Store on June 15,2015, has already been downloaded over 5 million times. People are not only downloading the app, but enjoying it as well with a 4.2 rating aggregated from over 330,000 reviews. It's obvious from these statistics that Run is very popular, but is it deserving of its rave reviews? In this app I explore the positives and negatives about Run while offering Tips, Tricks, and Cheats to make your playing experience as enjoyable as possible.
The Title screen for Run is pretty easily understandable even for new players. At the top left of the screen you're given options to log in with a Google+ or Kongregate account. The "More Games" button below brings you to a list of other games published by Kongregate.
Underneath the game's title is a row of little aliens. These aliens serve as yourcharacters in Run, and while you only have access to the most basic character at the beginning of the game, you can tap on each alien to get information on how they are unlocked.
The gameplay in Run will be familiar to veterans of the endless runner genre, and easily picked up by new players as well. Like most endless runners, in Run, the player has to guide their character through a course while avoiding obstacles. By tapping the right side of the screen, the player can make the alien jump, and swiping a finger across the left side of the screen allows you to control movement to the left and to the right. Run is slightly different than a traditional endless runner in that the course is shaped like a pentagon and your character can hop between sides to avoid obstacles rather than simply moving left or right. Upon hopping to another side, the course orients itself so that you're running straight again.
Every endless runner has obstacles you need to avoid, and Run is no different. These consist mainly of gaps in the course that you can fall through, and crumbling tiles that start to fall apart as you run over them. The crumbling tiles in particular add an element of strategy to the game, as you can run across them but only for a short period, and by touching one tile the player triggers the entire row to collapse.
The pentagon course format essentially provides the player with 5 different surfaces to run on, each with its own obstacles to avoid. This also means that though there's a static endpoint to each level, there are multiple paths you can guide your alien down to get to the finish line.
There are two modes of gameplay available in Run: Exploration and Endless. During Exploration mode, you go from level to level through the galactic map, and the levels get increasingly harder as you go. I was able to easily get to around level 40, and then I started to get stuck on certain areas. Run is sure to provide a challenge for even the most seasoned endless runner gamer.
There are multiple characters available to unlock, each of which has a little quirk that changes their playstyle. In my time playing I was able to unlock the Skater and the Lizard. The Skater builds up speed as you move and at its fastest is a lot faster than the starting alien. The Lizard seemed slower and more bouncy. A lot of variety is added to the game by allowing players to play through using different characters that offer different playstyles.
Run Hack for Power Cells & All Characters
The endless runner game Run can be a blast, but you need a lot of power cells to get anywhere in the game, and it's also a good idea to get all of the characters. Well, you will have to buy the characters and power cells in the app store if you want to get them quickly, but that costs real money, and it might not be something you can afford to do. If this sounds like you, then you need to check out our free Run hack, which gives you power cells and all of the characters for free, and it's safe for both Android and iOS devices.

Unique Tips, Tricks, and Cheats
While most of the special characters in Run are unlocked via the premium currency, power cells, there are some that are unlockable by achieving certain milestones in the game.
The Skater is probably the easiest to unlock and is available for play after reaching level 10 in explore mode.
The Lizard is slightly harder but obtained similarly by reaching level 40 in explore.
The crown at the bottom left of the screen opens the achievement screen. By attaining these achievements the player can earn power cells without spending any real money. Power cells can also be gathered for free by hitting the free power cells button in the shop. This takes the player to a page with a bunch of offers they can complete in exchange for cells, ranging from watching advertisements to downloading other apps. It's definitely possible to unlock most if not all of the special characters without spending real money by checking this page frequently and completing the offers.
Review
As a fan of endless runner games, I was skeptical as I started playing. Not knowing much about the game going in and having played simple reskins of the more popular titles, I had very low expectations for Run. I was pleasantly surprised to find that Run innovates and provides a full and enjoyable experience without intrusive advertising that seems to be standard with mobile games nowadays.
By expanding the course your alien runs on 5-fold with the pentagon shaped course, Run allows players to get creative with the path they take to get to the end of the level. The viable paths can also change as they run through the course with different characters that possess different benefits and drawbacks.
The music is a fun electronic soundtrack and still hasn't gotten old despite several hours of play, and the environment is well designed and fun to look at. With bright neon colors contrasting against the dark space background, the art style is simple yet polished.
Run offers both a truly endless experience in its infinite mode where players can see how long they last, and an exploration mode which offers an experience that gradually increases in difficulty. I really enjoyed being able to try over and over until I succeeded at passing a certain point in exploration mode rather than only having the option to participate in a randomly generated experience.
Ratings
Artwork: The artwork in Run is simple and well-designed. It doesn't distract from the main focus of the game, which is to keep your eye on the course and successfully avoid obstacles. The black space background with white stars provided a nice background and the neon color of the course itself periodically changed colors which provided some visual interest. The aliens are cute but the design didn't wow me at all. Rating: 7/10
Music / Sound Effects: The music for Run was a fun electronic soundtrack that fit the outer space environment never really got old. I can't think of anything they could have done better. Rating: 10/10
Story / Originality: There's no story in the game but I can't really fault Kongregate for that as story doesn't really have much of a place in the endless runner genre. The pentagon shaped course was innovative and really made Run a unique experience Rating: 10/10
General Gameplay: The gameplay was enjoyable and provided a fluid experience from the quick restarts provided after failing a level to the ease with which I mastered the control scheme.. Rating: 10/10
Addictiveness: Run is extremely addicting. I launched the game for the first time right before I was planning to sleep and ended up sinking several hours into it. The competitive aspect of being able to see your ranking also adds to the drive to practice and get better at it. Rating: 10/10
Overall Rating: Run is one of the best endless runners I have ever played. Outside of maybe making the art a little more interesting I really can think of nothing this game could do better. I wholeheartedly recommend giving it a try – you won't regret it! Rating: 9/10
