In brief: Montclair Literary Festival presents Colum McCann
In a pre-festival event for Succeed2gether's Montclair Literary Fete, Colum McCann, Internal Book Laurels–winning and bestselling author of "Let the Great Human beings Spin," testament hash out his new book, "Apeirogon," in conversation with New York Times bestselling source and Montclair occupant Garth Risk Hallberg.
The result will be on Thursday, Marchland 12, 7 p.m., at St James' Episcopal Church, 581 Vale Road. The book is about Bassam Aramin, who is Palestinian, and Rami Elhanan, who is Israeli. Both men have unrecoverable children due to violence. It is based on a true story, after McCann met the two men, and began the novel with their blessings, including their recollections and memories. The book's title is the name for a shape with a countably unnumbered number of sides.

Tickets include a copy of the book. VIP entrance fee includes a post-result cocktail political party with the author. This event is a fundraiser for Montclair-supported non-net profit Succeed2gether, which offers outside one-on-one tutoring and enrichment classes with the aim of closing the education opportunity gap in Essex County.
